Well people….”Shenanigans”…You HAVE to love that term, I insist! No really…I do.

With that brief point out of the way I’d like to talk about Me. Very self centred, I know but….what the hey it’s my blog, I can bake my cake…and eat it (and several variations of that phrase)…..Luscious, scrumptious, delicious cake…(God I want cake….) WHAT?! Stop it readers, you’re making me babble!

Me. That’s right – what have I been up to? Well…a few things. What are they? I hear you murmur, in a voice which sounds distinctly like my own….I’ll tell you what!

Factional Warfare. Myself and “the gang” decided we had been carebears a little too long and thought it best that we get “blooded” and learn the ways of PvP. We decided we weren’t really pirates at heart so we thought we’d live and die for the State Protectorate as part of the Caldari Militia. I must say it’s been a rather fun adventure! I’ve lost a few ships and recieved my first ever podding in almost a year of playing but it was all fun. I also managed to bag my first kill mail ever as my trusty Harbinger (The Fury) sliced and diced a well armoured Drake. Ah the joys of combat! The smells of battle….or rather testosterone charged pod fluid….Ewww….Think of the cake…Think of the cake….That’s better, but don’t distract me like that with cake again…I’ve got my eye on you….reader.

Other than that, outside the world of New Eden….I have become YoMma – Zombie Hunter…well…no so much Hunter as…YoMma – Zombie Chum. It’s a tough world being one of only four survivors struggling to find rescue in a world gone zomb…But…You’ve just got to survive, it’s that human thing…only…in a game! Anyways…I shan’t dwell too long on the joys of Left 4 Dead as you have probably heard enough already in my last post…but damn….what a game!

Lastly I would like to talk about something non-gaming related…kind of….A passion of mine is writing…hence the blog and whilst the blog allows me to be creative and also to flood the intertubes with my opinions and so forth it doesn’t give me all the creativity I desire. I like to work on short stories and I was thinking of setting up a section of my blog, or a seperate site entirely where I could host some of them. It will take me a while to get everything together but I think I shall do it. I’m actually trying to pursue it as a career path so, it will be nice to get some feedback to give me an idea whether or not I’m any good. No use writing if nobody likes it eh? Related to this, I have been thinking about an EVE based story for a while but I have held back as I felt like I would be stepping on the toes of EVE players who have already pursued this…then I realised this was stupid because my story isn’t their story and the whole thought process I had clung to had been idiotic. Silly me! Along with this I need to actually sort my neck out and get my next ENN article out which Serious Sally has been very patient with!
