Yes, this is me – the one with the strange, almost frightened smile there! I’m from a place called Manchester (the first Industrialised city in the world, don’t you know!) in a place you might have heard of known as the United Kingdom. I’m an avid gamer and writer and I am the proud owner of an honours degree in English and History from the University of Liverpool (and I did it all by my little self!). I like to think I have a knack for writing (note: like to THINK) and this website is an extension of that passion of mine.

100% Virtual YoMma

I’ve been playing EVE Online since around January 2008, though my love for the game wasn’t truly kindled til the Spring of 2008 when I joined my first corp, converted several real life friends (and family!) to the game and I haven’t looked back since. EVE Online is one of the great entertainment concepts and experiences of our time and though it has its ups and downs like everything else, it continues to enthrall me and keep me coming back for more even today, almost two years on!

I write a bi-monthly column about EVE in Beckett Media’s Massive Online Gamer (MOG) Magazine, which is published throughout North America and I try to present my experiences in the game to players who perhaps are thinking about playing and need that little shove in the right direction, or may never even have heard about EVE before. I’ve also had articles featured on several gaming sites, both EVE and non-EVE related such as MMORPG.com and the now defunct EVE Network News.

I’ve also dabbled in podcasting, appearing as co-host on an 11 show run of The Adam Brown Show Podcast (non EVE related) and also with reknowned EVE nice guy, CrazyKinux on MicroWarpCast.
